**BLOG BLITZ** The Note by Andrew Barrett

What the publisher says: Have you ever had that feeling of being watched but when you turn around no one’s there? I have. It was raining, and I was working a murder scene around midnight when that prickle ran up my spine. If I’d listened to that feeling, if I’d thought back to my past, maybe I could have prevented the terror that was to come. Back at the office, I found a death threat on my desk. I had no idea who sent it or why they wanted to kill me. But I was about to find out. I’m Eddie Collins, a CSI and this is my story.   What I say: I wasn’t sure what I would think of this as short stories are not usually my thing.  I needn’t have worried though as I was sucked into Eddie’s life and soon was intrigued by who could have sent him the note, why and what would be the outcome. The character of Eddie was quite an unusual one, chiding himself for his behaviour once he had received the note as he realised that it may be genuine and in which case he could be putting himself in danger by carrying out his usual routine…
