**BLOG TOUR** How Not to Be a Bride by Portia MacIntosh

What the publisher says: Definitely, maybe…yes? Mia Valentina gave up her high-flying life in LA to move back to Kent over four years ago. But it turns out that life in the slow lane isn’t all it’s cracked up to be! So when her boyfriend Leo proposes, she says yes, hoping it will bring some much needed sparkle back into her life. The trouble is, Mia never wanted a big white wedding, just the happy ever after… What I say: This is the story of the fantastically named Mia Valentina and her boyfriend/fiance Leo.   Mia has returned from Los Angeles where she was living a glamorous life mixing with movie stars as part of her life as a screen writer.  She now finds herself living a solitary existence at home as a novelist, her move meaning she had left behind anyone she could think of as a friend. When her boyfriend proposes (with the full knowledge of her family – eeek!) she is over the moon and yet something seems to be causing her problems when it comes to the organisation of what should be the happiest day of her life.  Throw in her new job shadowing a rock star to learn…

**BLOG TOUR** The Accidental Honeymoon by Portia MacIntosh
Reviews / 15th June 2017

What the publisher says: When Georgie discovers that her fiancé has been cheating on her, only a few days before her cousin’s wedding, her whole world explodes. Facing a romantic trip to Vegas alone, she decides to go out and have some fun… …but Georgie never expected to wake up wed! And even worse, she can’t remember who to. So when gorgeous Jack reveals himself as her husband, she can’t believe her luck – he’ll act as the perfect wedding date! Even if it is their very accidental honeymoon, surely the newlyweds can keep their emotions in check for just a few days more?   What the publisher says: I have to admit I am a fan of Portia MacIntosh and have read several of her other books.  This is my favourite by far.   Georgie is a likeable character who finds that she has accidentally married the gorgeous Jack.  She decides that the best course of action is to introduce him to her family as John,  the fiance she has just dumped.  Jack agrees to play along and the two of them find themselves in some amusing situations. The two of them travel to Blackpool for a family wedding…
